Do I need a merchant account to use Transaxt?

No. You do not need a merchant account to use the Transaxt platform. Once you provide all the necessary information associated with creating an account in our signup process you are up and running within minutes. Please see our terms of service for more information regarding merchant accounts.

What fees are associated with my Transaxt account?

Creating an account with Transaxt is free. However, we do charge a flat 4.5% per transaction fee (which includes all major credit card discount fees) for any transaction processed through our platform. We also work with a network of approved consultants and/or referring partners to provide you with the highest level of service possible. Customers who work with our approved network of referral agents and consultants may be charged a rate different than 4.5%, which will be determined based on a written agreement with Customer.

How are funds remitted to me from donations associated with my Transaxt account?

Funds are remitted to you once a month via check or ACH wire. In certain circumstances Transaxt will be able to remit funds on a more frequent basis. Please contact us at for more information on this process and please see our terms of service for more information on how funds are distributed.

Do you handle chargeback requests for me?

Transaxt manages chargebacks requests for you through every step of the process. Please see our terms of service for more information related to chargeback requests.
